David Dave L. Anderson, 66, of Beallsville died Sunday, June 10 in Wheeling Medical Park Hospital. He was born May 12, 1946 in Harriman, Tenn., a son of the late James Arthur and Helen Irene Ryon Anderson. He was a US Army Veteran of the Viet Nam Era and a retired employee of Ohio Valley Coal #6 Mine. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Beallsville where he served as a Deacon, a member of Sunsbury Lodge #362, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge and OES #24. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by a brother, James Anderson. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Judy White Anderson, a daughter, Melissa (Kevin) Mason of Shawnee Hills and a son Mike (Nikki) Anderson of Wheeling, W.Va. a brother, Frank Anderson of Deer Lodge, Tenn.; a sister Rose Freytag of Lansing, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Jacob Anderson and Emily Mason. Friends were received June 12 at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services were held June 13 with Wayne Clark officiating. Interment followed in Beallsville Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post #768. Masonic services were conducted Tuesday at the funeral home.
