Robert Dale Lucas, 72, Of Bethesda, Ohio died Monday, November 5, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 27, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Forrest Dale Lucas and Evelyn Bolon Lucas.

He was a deacon at Bethesda Christian Church. Robert had a deep love for his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Lucas; and brother, David Lucas.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Theresa (Brad) Cain of Bethesda, Ohio; sons, Rodney (Laurie) Lucas of Belmont, Ohio and Rick (Charlotte) Lucas of Bethesda, Ohio; four grandchildren, Todd Cain, Tonya (Nik) Harris, Sheri Lucas, and Austin Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Abel Harris.

Visitation was Thursday November 8 and Friday November 9, until time of services at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Minister Tim Snyder officiated. Interment followed at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
