James Gallagher

1925-2012

James Junior Gallagher entered into peaceful sleep, January 31, 2012 at Clyde W. Cosper Nursing Home, Bonham Texas. He was born in Barnesville, Ohio, June 15, 1925, son of the late James W. Gallagher and Lucille Marie Harper Gallagher.

James graduated from Barnesville High School and served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. LST 768, during World War II.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Rose Frances Ventrone Gallagher, who passed away in 1998.

He is survived by his sister, Oleta Garrett; two daughters, Kathleen and Renee; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

At James’ request, private services were conducted.
