Elmer R. Kuthy "Dick", 71, of Belmont, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Barnesville Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 2, 1940 in Bethesda, Ohio, a son of the late Elmer R. Kuthy and Fayree Lucas Kuthy.
Dick, a life resident of Bethesda, graduated from Barnesville High School in 1958. He was the owner and operator of Barkcamp Trading Post for 32 years. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and archery and had also been a member of the Bethesda Sportmans Club.
Dick is survived by his wife, Madelyn Kuthy of the home; daughter, Karen David; sons, Richard W. (Sherri) Kuthy, John (Ellinda) Moss, and Jim (Dawn) Moss; brothers, Jerry (Ila) Kuthy and Skip (Lori) Kuthy; sisters, Donna Baker and Janet (Arnie) Wilson; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, May 2, 2011 at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio where services were conducted Tuesday, May 3 with Pastor Brian Bee officiating, Interment followed at Bethesda Methodist Cemetery, Bethesda.
