Raymond "Jimmy" Reischman, age 94, of Miltonsburg , Ohio died on Monday August 16, 2010 at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 1, 1915 in Monroe County, Ohio, a son of the late Nicholas and Barbara Riesbeck Reischman.

Raymond drove bus for St. John the Baptist Church, worked at Stegner Tire shop and worked as a mechanic for the Chevrolet garage in Woodsfield and spent many years working at Bob's Chevrolet in Barnesville before opening his own garage in Miltonsburg.

Surviving is his wife of 71 years, Edith Kress Reischman of Miltonsburg; daughter, Barbara Reischman of Miltonsburg; sons, Roger (Pat) Reischman of Barnesville, Dale (Joan) Reischman of Glendale, Ariz., and Virgil Reischman of Marietta. Also surviving is a brother, Eddie Reischman, of Miltonsburg, grandchildren, Chris, Michael and Joey Reischman of Glendale and Terra (Reischman) Donathan of St. Clairsville; and great- grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Luke, and Aiden.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Raymond who died at birth and two brothers, Clem and Francis Reischman.

Friends were received Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, August 19. Interment was in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery Miltonsburg. Condolences may be expressed online at www.bauerturner.com.
