I recently recieved an e-mail concerning pepsi's lack of including under God on their new commemerative can.Well let me tell you I almost had a hissy fit. With everything going on in this world we live in,I do not feel this is an issue which needs adressed. Why is it America jumps on it's religious high horse for something so mundane when abortions occur every day?Our local streams are being polluted on a daily basis, but no one says to cut back on electric usage so we would not need mines leaking slurry into these waterways. It is time to extend a helping hand to someone who is down and out, help an elderly neighbor with a chore,or get out and enjoy the beauty of nature while we still have time.

I feel the same about many issues that seem petty, sometimes those issues are used to cover over bigger issues.

One of the possible big polluters for our local water supply could be the REX pipeline, and on the other side of things, it could be Murray Energy with possible pollution.

It is possible to have the pipeline in the water shed for the Barnesville Reservoir and Murray Energy mining underneath.

With the passing of two big entertainers, we haven't heard anything about how GM and Chrysler is doing. With ptobably many other issues going on.

So petty things can and do get in the way of what is going on.
