I have been watching what congress has been doing concerning health care, I can't find anything in the constitution that allows such a sweeping change to our country.
Having ideas so good they can't tell us about them, that is really a joke. What happened to having the government becoming more transparent? How about putting the parlay between the government and big businesses on C-Span for the whole world to see?
The United States has one of the best health care systems in the world, it does need some adjustments, but not replacing the whole system. I have government health care, I retired from a state job, I have both the state retirement system medical plan and Medicare.
Soon doctors will not be able to pay for their office help, let alone receive an income for some one who has gone to college for about 8 years and then had to be in a training program for 2 to 4 more years. Many doctors graduate from medical school with $100,000 plus debt.
Is your pharmacist driving a new Mercedes? How about any of the Registered Nurses in town? They will be affected by the current health care proposal, many may start looking for jobs with less hassles and maybe better pay for the hours they worked.
I am not for or against either of the two major political parties, I want all of congress replaced, lets have a clean sweep. Let the people run their country not these folks in Washington that are out of touch with the reality that we need jobs so we can afford medical care.
