Jeffrey Scott Briddell, 61, of Barnesville, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born on March 7, 1957, in Kettering, to the late Ronald Ted and Joyce (Moore) Briddell.

He was a 1975 graduate of Fairmont East in Kettering. In his earlier years, he worked repairing motorcycles with his brother, Steve and then worked for Fitzpatrick Roofing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Briddell.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 19 years, Janet (Hall) Briddell; three children, Bryana (Joe) Vavra of St. Clairsville, Andrew Briddell of Barnesville, and Abigail Briddell of Barnesville; grandchildren, Kolson Shane, Deacon and Maverick Vavra; brother, Eric (Mindy) Briddell of Middletown, Ohio; special sister-in-law, Linda (Roger) Eddy; two nieces and one nephew, Brandi, Megan, and Trenton; and several cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, where the service were Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, with Pastor Richard Cox officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeff's memory to a charity of the donors choice.
