Summer has came and passed, and with this instant cold it seems as though our fall is gone as well! Keeping healthy, soft skin in the winter is a challenge, but it’s not terribly hard if you follow a few tips.

Tip 1: Moisturize

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! I cannot stress this enough! The cold, dry air will dry your skin in an instant. It is no secret that lotions help make your skin soft, so it is almost a given to moisture. For deep, super soft skin, I recommend cocoa butter. Apply gently though, as too much can clog your pores.

Tip 2: Do Not Go Out With Wet Skin

It is very easy to walk outside in the morning after a shower just to get a breath of fresh air. That is a crucial mistake. The dry air will instantly suck the moisture out of your face and leave you with dry, cracked skin. So simple enough, do not go outside with a wet face.

Tip 3: Exfoliate Regularly

It is almost inevitable to not get dry skin at some point during the winter, which means dead, dry skin will be sitting on your face. I recommend exfoliating about once a week. This will leave you with a soft, smooth face. Make sure to finish out with a moisturizer to lock in that smooth skin!
