ST. CLAIRSVILLE – High school juniors, seniors, and parents are invited to attend several upcoming fall visitation events at Ohio University Eastern.
"Social Work Night" is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 1 at 5:30 p.m. Participants will meet with professors and students to learn how this bachelor’s degree program prepares our students for state licensure. The job opportunities in this field are many and our graduates have excelled in a variety of local and state agencies to empower individuals, relieve suffering, and affect social change. Students involved in this program will complete a year-long internship in a local human service agency for practical experience.
"STEM Night" is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. Participants will explore what it means to work in the science, technology, engineering and mathematic fields. Ohio University Eastern faculty members will provide chemistry demonstrations, anatomy lab tours, and talk about how degrees in exercise physiology and human biology can be earned at the Eastern Campus, as well as a relocating option for engineers.
"Education Night" will take place on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m. Learn about our nationally recognized faculty and programs in Middle and Early Childhood Education programs and begin an adventure in education. Participants will meet and spend time with professors, students and graduates during this event.
