With its canals, apple butter, and rich heritage, Roscoe Village has it all! Roscoe Village is an effort to preserve, protect, and promote an important piece of Ohio’s history and heritage along the banks of the Ohio and Erie Canal. While visiting Coshocton, you are immersed in living history. Many visitors are brought into Roscoe Village for their annual Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival, which is held this year on October 19-21, 2018. Costumed crafters, multiple food vendors, and interpreters await visitors in the beautifully restored living history buildings. Also, don’t forget to grab some delicious apple butter to take home to family and friends, and enjoy your ride on the Monticello III canal boat while you glide right into Ohio’s history!
