BETHESDA — The treasurer’s report was given. Beginning balance for June 2018 was $16,661.71; the ending balance for June 2018 was $13,811.86. Jim Patron made a motion to accept the June 2018 treasurer’s report, and approve the bills, seconded by Debbie Mason. Motion passed. 

Debbie Mason made a motion to approve the 2019 budget and to send it to the county auditor, seconded by Jim Ellis. Motion passed. 

The board discussed the booth that will be at the Chautauqua Festival next weekend. They will be raffling off two Friday night Jamboree tickets, holding a 50/50 raffle, and selling the Riesbeck’s gift card raffle tickets. Mason said she will man the booth from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Burkhead said he and his family would man the booth the remainder of the time.

The board discussed the drinking fountain at the park. Burkhead presented various options that he found online to replace the broken fountain. Jim Patron made a motion to purchase a drinking fountain for $550, seconded by Debbie Mason. Motion passed. 

The board discussed the gun bash which will be Oct. 6. They will have a meeting with a gentleman who can give them ideas about holding the gun bash on July 18.

The next Park Board meeting will be Thursday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m.
