John Boilegh, an anthropologist with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, will lead a field trip to Track Rocks located outside of Barnesville, to view the ancient Indian petroglyphs (pictures.) The trip will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 9:30 a.m.
Those interested will meet at the museum at 9 a.m. to car pool. After visiting the site, the group will return to the museum for refreshments and a discussion of the Indian petroglyphs.
The event is free and open to the public. John is a popular and entertaining speaker and has led multiple field trips for the museum.
