The third in Barnesville Hospital Foundation’s Financial Planning Series will be Investing and Planning for Retirement, presented by Jason Harrison, AIFA®, Senior Vice President, Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. This program will be Thursday, July 19 at 7 p.m. in the Barnesville Hospital Classroom.
"Investing and Planning for Retirement" will provide an overview of how to take control of your retirement by figuring out what you will need and knowing what you have," said Jan Chambers, Barnesville Hospital Foundation Director of Development. "It is never too late or too early to begin saving for retirement and it is important to know what investment options are available."
Investing and Planning for Retirement will include information on how to plan for a long retirement, how to cope with inflation and market volatility and withdrawing the right amount from savings. Jason will present from 7:00-8:00 PM and then there will be time allowed for questions.
"More Americans are set to retire than ever before. At the same time, Americans have never been less prepared for retirement," said Jason Harrison. "It is critical for individuals to create and implement a financial plan if they are going to enjoy their golden years."
Our final program will be Estate Planning and it will be held on Aug. 16.
