Vaughn L. Long, 53, of Beallsville, died Sunday, June 24, 2018, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
He and his twin sister, Vicki, were born May 28, 1965, in Barnesville, to James "Herman" and Lyda Long.
Vaughn was an experienced tree trimmer and a friend to everyone he met. He was a member of the "Sons of the American Legion," and Woodsfield FOE 2302.
In addition to his parents, Jim and Lyda Long of Beallsville and his twin sister, Vicki (Scott) Lohr of Sardis, Vaughn is survived by three children, Jessica (Tyler) Davis of Barnesville, Cody Good, and Colton (T'Keyah) Long of Newark; twin grandchildren, Tytis and Teagon Davis; niece and nephew, Leslie Lohr and Nicholas (Cassidy) Lohr; a special friend, Pam Jones of Beallsville.
Visitation followed by a memorial service was held June 29, 2019, at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, with Herb Alexander, Minister of Grace Christian Church, Woodsfield, presiding.
