Donald Earl Warrick, 94, of Barnesville, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Wheeling Hospital. Donald was born in Shadyside, on Nov. 9, 1923, to the late Earl J. and Lizetta (Ullom) Warrick.
Donald is a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Woodsfield Moose, life-member of the Beallsville American Legion and VFW Post #2792.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Ann (Burkey) Warrick; four brothers and four sisters.
Donald is survived by his wife, Lova (Ward) Warrick of Barnesville; son, John (Joan) Warrick of Boca Rotan, FL; grandson, John (Shonda) Warrick II of Pickerington; stepdaughter, Connie Ackerman of Jerusalem; two step-grandchildren: Jerry (Stacy) Ackerman of Barnesville and Tammy (Brian) Clary of Somerton; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were May 4, 2018, at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville. Pastor Ed Eberhart officiated. Burial followed in Northern Cemetery in Barnesville. Military honors were conducted by the Belmont County Veteran’s Association.
