Election Supper planned
The Somerton United Methodist Church invites all to an Election Supper on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu includes: Chicken fricassee, noodles, parsley potatoes, perfection salad or cole slaw, green beans, dessert, roll, beverage. Line dancing schedule
There will be no line dancing on Thursday, Nov. 9 and Thursday, Nov. 23. They will have line dancing on Nov. 16 and Nov. 30 at the Grange Hall.
Christmas Craft Fair set
The Christmas Craft Fair and Lighted Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Barnesville Elementary School gym, 210 W. Church St., Barnesville. The Barnesville Area Feeder Calf Banquet and Meeting will be Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Henri Coulson Buidling (Fairgrounds), Woodsfield.

Belmont County Military Veterans Museum will have an open house and celebration for veterans on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Turkey Bingo set
Turkey Bingo is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the BPO Elks, 117 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville. Doors open at 6 p.m. and bingo begins at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Barnesville Area Education Foundation.
CBAR to meet
The Concerned Barnesville Area Residents (CBAR) next meeting will be Thursday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. CBAR is a grassroots organization focused on addressing the health and environmental risks posed by shale gas development in our area. The meeting will be held at the Library Annex, 611 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville. All are welcome!
Coin club meets
The Barnesville Coin Club meets the third Sunday of every month, except December. The meetings are open to the public and are located at 229 E. Main St., Barnesville.
