CBAR group to meet

The Concerned Barnesville Area Residents (CBAR) would like thanks all of our tri~state area neighbors who visited their informational table at the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival. You are invited to attend the next CBAR meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the the Library Annex, 611 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville. All are welcome! CBAR is a grassroots organization focused on addressing the health and environmental risks posed by shale gas development in our area.

Class of 1959 to meet

The class of 1959 will have its monthly meeting on Friday, Sept.  29 at 10 a.m. at Annie K’s.

‘Wooden Toy’ fundraiser planned

The Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary will be having a "Wooden Toy" Fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 6 in the hospital lobby from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. These wooden toys are made by Terry Elliott. Public is invited to come and browse -- great gift ideas.

Vintage at the Vestry Sale set

There will be a Vintage at the Vestry Sale on Friday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Vestry, 211 Church St., Morristown. A vintage inspired indoor/?outdoor event featuring antiques, up-cycled items, jewelry, furniture, pet supplies, gift items, food trucks, and much more. For information, visit The Vestry on Facebook.

Class of 1977 to meet

The Zane Trace Class of 1977 will have its 40th class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. at the Old Washington Park Pavilion in Old Washington. (This is the site where the Zane Trace High School building once stood.) A bonfire and BBQ dinner catered by SmokinC BBQ (Rick Casterline) will be available for purchase. Belmont College monthly board meeting

Belmont College will have its monthly Board of Trustees meeting Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Belmont Hills Country Club in St. Clairsville. The board workshop starts at 5 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Visit www.belmontcollege.edu for more information.

The Barnesville Coin Club meets the third Sunday of every month, except December. The meetings are open to the public and are located at 229 E. Main St., Barnesville.
