BELMONT COUNTY County Road 100 will be closed for the last time Wednesday, July 26th, as part of the ongoing, $11 million Interstate 70 bridge replacement project at Lady Bend Hill near U.S. Route 40 (Exit 204) between Morristown and Barnesville.

Crews will be finishing bridge painting and stone placement under the bridges. CR 100 is expected to be reopened by 3 p.m. on August 1st.

There will be a continuation of intermittent lane closures on I-70 typically between 6 p.m. and noon in both directions through the rest of this week to finish the project.

Construction began in August 2015 and included the replacement of twin, 372-foot long bridges built in 1969 over Stillwater Creek and CR 100.

ODOT's contractor is Triton Construction Inc., from Nitro, West Virginia.
