BELMONT COUNTY -- Interstate 70 westbound will be reduced to one lane from 7 p.m. next Wednesday night, June 28th, until 9 a.m. Thursday morning, June 29th, at the $19.5 million State Route 331 Interchange improvement project.

ODOT's contractor, Shelly & Sands Inc., from Columbus, Ohio, will be pouring the I-70 westbound travel lane bridge deck. One lane of traffic will be maintained in the westbound direction, while two lanes of traffic will remain in eastbound direction.

Work began in April of last year on this major interchange improvement project intended to reduce congestion and improve safety. The current completion date for all work is July 31, 2018.
