Volunteer Emily Carrel (center) helps Abigail Wheeler (left) and Chloe Ault (right) decorate picture frames at the Belmont Youth Camp on June 15 during its second week. This is the second year for the camp which is held in the old Belmont School gymnasium. Belmont Mayor Stan Sobel, who organizes the camp, said 29 kids ranging from age four to nine attended this year over the two weeks. The cost of the camp was $10 per week per child. Sobel noted that Sam's Club and Riesbecks made large donations of food and drinks for the camp. Programs ranged from horses, a therapy dog, police and fire vehicle demonstrations to martial arts. Each day included a craft, a science learning activity and lunch.
