7:28 a.m., vehicle lockout on Wiley Avenue.

12:06 p.m., woman on station needing to speak with an officer regarding a protection order. She was advised that protection orders must be done through the court system. Female advised that the assault took place in Somerton, so she was advised to contact the BCSO. Deputy was contacted and enroute to station at 12:30 p.m.

2:04 p.m., report of a breaker kicking off and no power on South Lincoln Avenue. American Electric Power was notified.

Wednesday, May 3

2:43 p.m., female called station in regard to filing charges against her parents whom she said were using her identity to open accounts in her name. Caller lives in Texas, but her parents live in Barnesville.

3:13 p.m., accident with property damage on Pine Lane. Caller stated it happened in front of her house and her niece struck her property. No injuries were reported.

7:03 p.m., woman on station in reference to harassment from an ex-boyfriend.

Saturday, May 6

4:07 p.m., officer reported seeing a male subject outside the corporation limit on Mt. Olivett Road. Officers patrolled the area but did not see the male. At 4:25 p.m. officers located the male. The K9 unit was called to help track, but was later cancelled. Two male subjects were taken into custody and transported to the station.

Sunday, May 7

Female caller reported that her husband was driving toward Barnesville on SR 800 North when someone in another vehicle threw trash at him. The caller was not with her husband at the time and did not know if it happened inside the corporation limits. She provided a description of the vehicle and license plate number and said she did not appreciate people throwing trash at her husband.

Monday, May 8

1:45 p.m., caller reported their neighbor was burning trash at corner of South Lincoln and East South streets. Officer drove by and advised that it was a small, controlled burn. Fire Chief advised he was enroute as no burning was permitted in village limits.

4:04 p.m., report of a possible drug deal at a parking lot on East Main Street. Caller reported two white men and described one of the vehicles and what they said. The caller said the incident happened a half an hour earlier. She was advised to call right away if she saw something again. Officers were to patrol the area.

4:47 p.m., female caller reported that an older pickup truck nearly hit her on South Chestnut Street and was now headed down South 800.

6:21 p.m., complaint of a man coming into an Ohio Street residence and threatening to evict everyone. The caller was just visiting the residents and said they were advised by the property owner to contact the police.

7:16 p.m., Grey Lane caller reported a rabid raccoon in their backyard.

11:07 p.m., traffic stop on South Chestnut Street resulted in a man being taken into custody for two warrants out of Guernsey County. Barnesville officer met a Cambridge OSP officer to exchange the man at the Quaker City exit of I-70.
