The 23rd Annual Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park dinner and auction will be April 22, 2017 at Sally Buffalo Park's Wallace, 100 College Way, Cadiz, Ohio. Doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a speaker and auction.

The speaker will be author James H. Grant. James retired from Gradall Industries in 2005 and was a former director of product support at Gradall Industries. Currently he is a business consultant and author at JHG Partners, LLC. His books include The Gradall a story of American ingenuity, Load Handler-Gradall Loed Material Handlers, and most recently Warner & Swasey Construction Equipment.

Auction items include photos of area mining history, mining & construction related stickers, memorabilia, rural and agriculture related items, books, collectables, items donated by businesses, members, and supporters, and more.

This is one of the main events to raise funds to cover expenses such as insurance, machinery upkeep etc. Auctions are conducted by local auctioneers and everyone has brought to the evening something unique in the way of presentation. This years auctioneers will be Charlie & Terri Hutton.
