These Barnesville Elementary School students were the lucky winners of a Dr. Seuss book on Friday, March 3 at the conclusion of the school's Right to Read Spirit Week. The theme for the week was "Seuss-ify Yourself" and each day students and staff reflected a Dr. Seuss book title with their attire. On Monday, "The Cat in the Hat Day," stripes were worn; Tuesday was "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" with red and blue being worn; Wednesday was "Wacky Wednesday" with mismatched clothing being worn; on Thursday green from head to toe was worn on "Green Eggs and Ham Day" and Friday was pajama day to go along with "The Sleep Book." Pictured with BES Principal Clint Abbott, who is dressed as The Cat in the Hat, are the book drawing winners (not in order): Raegan Welch, Peyton Lucas, Brielle Van Horn, Mallory Spence, Brandi Elerick, Devin McBride, Marley Dye, Jullian Johnson, Aidan Yost, Madison Wehr, Kylie Young, Phoenix Graham, Ryland Wehr, Avery Sustik, Aiva Leasure, Jacquline Wineman, Ella Nugent, Rocco D'Aqulia, Austin Hashman, Lydia Johnson, and Grace Starr.
