Three subjects reportedly robbed the Belmont-Carson Petroleum gas station on South Chestnut Street in Barnesville Thursday afternoon, March 20. According to Barnesville Police Chief David Norris, at approximately 3 p.m., three African American subjects, two males and one female, described as “nicely dressed” entered the station. Two of the subjects drew the attention of the gas station attendant while the third took approximately $1,000 from the cash register.
Norris said the subjects were reportedly seen at another location in town, and there was a possibility they were driving a vehicle with out-of-state license plates.
Norris said the suspects were caught on video tape and the robbery is under investigation.
