On Saturday, September 24th 2013, the Buckeye Buckmasters Chapter of the BADF teamed up with Dakota Outfitters to provide the hunt of a lifetime for one lucky local veteran.
The winner by random drawing was David Johnson from Rogers, Ohio.  David served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968.  David was joined in the stand by his two sons, Andy and Adam who were able to enjoy witnessing their father taking his largest buck to date, a beautiful 135 class 10 point.
The Buckeye Buckmasters Chapter would like to thank David for his service to our country and for providing us all with the liberties we so dearly cherish. Also, a very special thanks to Eric Stonecipher and Jim Moses from Dakota Outfitters near Quaker City, Ohio for donating the hunt and the use of their beautiful lodge.  For more information about Dakota Outfitters and some of the activities they offer please visit www.dakotaoutfittersllc.com.
