First United Methodist Church of Barnesville, in association with Main Street United Methodist Church and the Somerton/Jerusalem/Beallsville United Methodist Charge, have partnered with The Mid-Ohio Foodbank to sponsor a Mobile Market food distribution on the first Tuesday morning of every month from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Depot Pavilion in Barnesville.  Beginning April 1, 2014, all food items are distributed free of charge.  It is anticipated that this Mobile Market site will serve approximately 120 families every month.
What is the Mobile Market?
The Mid-Ohio Foodbank (MOF) Mobile Market is a program designed to bring fresh foods and groceries to individuals and families in communities where food access is limited. The refrigerated MOF truck visits housing sites, community centers, public libraries and schools – bringing the market to you.
 How Does It Work?
· The truck arrives according to an established scheduled day.  For Barnesville this is the first Tuesday of every calendar month at 10 a.m.
 · The product is fresh produce and other perishable staples like eggs and milk.
 · You are invited to shop for free, bringing your own bags and means of carrying the food home.
 · Income guidelines are used to determine eligibility.
When is it Coming?
Market Day: Beginning April 1, 2014, Market Day is the 1st Tuesday of each month.
Time: 10-11:30 a.m.
Location: Barnesville Depot Pavilion, intersection of Church and Railroad streets, Barnesville.
