Nationally known master hand engraver and custom rifle builder; Larry A. Parker, of Belmont, Ohio will be set up engraving and exhibiting on-site at Cabela’s (gun library),  Dallas Pike, Wheeling, West Virginia, February 27th thru March 4, 2014.  He will be engraving using “hammer & chisel” and have an exhibit of his work which includes highly embellished engraved shotguns, rifles, handguns, presentation grade black power rifles, knives and tomahawks, which are engraved using hammer and chisel.  His woodwork (stock-work) and checkering is also on these fine firearms.  The exhibit will be daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parker has had a number of embellished firearms on the covers of national magazines and is one of two living hand engravers that has two pieces of work in the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming.
Come see a dying art, with Parker’s experience being 56 years in the firearms trade.  There are only approximately 330 hand engravers in the United States (Firearms Engravers Guild of America).
 Also, again this year, Parker will be engraving and set up at the  National Rifle Association National Convention at The Indianapolis Convention Center, April 25-27 (booth # 5864) in Indianapolis, Indiana. This will be the 11th National NRA Convention at which he has demonstrated.
