Illustrator Richard Cowdrey was the honored guest at Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library's Storybook Park on Saturday, Oct. 6. The illustrator of the "Marley" books and many others, autographed books and taught children how to draw. The popular event included free books, food, stories, crafts, songs and fun for all ages, and was made possible by the generous donations of many.

The event included the reading of four exciting stories: Bad Dog, Marley!, Bear Feels Sick, Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, and Snowmen all Year. The stories were brought to life by artwork, scenes and decorations made by inmates of the Belmont Correctional Institute.
