The Bethesda Senior Center at 118 South Main St., Bethesda is having their Spring Bazaar on April 17 at 9 a.m. There will be homemade items such as rag loom woven rugs, aprons, pot scratchers, hot pad holders and towel sets, quilted lap throws, baby quilts, quilted toss pillows and other craft items. There will be Rada Knives and other Rada items.
Lunch will be served with the following menu: soups, sandwiches, pies, cookies and other home baked items. There will be a Bake Sale in conjunction with the lunch. Carry-out will be available. Phone (740) 484-1416.
The Center is open Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are various activities such as lunch daily, games, chair exercise, making of rugs, quilts, and crafts, nutrition shopping, mall shopping and various trips. Arrangements may be made for transportation to doctor appointments by calling (740) 695-6868. This service is provided by the Belmont Senior Services.
