On Wednesday, March 11, the BBM Rotary will celebrate 60 years of providing humanitarian service, encouraging high ethical standard in all vocations and helping to build goodwill and peace in the world.

The BBM Rotary Club was chartered in 1949. There were 20 charter members including: Cecil Ayers, V.P.; John Barrett; C.R. Grimm; Allan Kemp; Harold Schafer; Harry C. Thompson, Sec.; S.J. Vaughn; R.C. Horton; E.W. Carman; Garth Garrett; Harold Latham; Earl N. Skaggs; V. Dale West; Dr. John Carlotti; William Bolon; R.C. Bolon; J.W. Freeman; Terry Toothman; Rev. Francis Smith, Pres.; Harold Wheeler, Treas.

The BBM Rotary Club is currently meeting every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Bethesda Senior Services Center with 17 active members who are business men and women, professionals and community minded people who are committed volunteers working together to improve the communities.
