Barnesville High School art students recently entered 18 works in the he 2009 Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition. Those 18 works were among over 12,000 pieces form 15 regions across Ohio, including public, private and charter schools.

Students whose art work was selected for the exhibition include: Johnathan Barker, Gage Hanlon, Kurtis Jefferis, Samantha Jefferis, Evan Schaner, Tyler Sells, Katey Stephen, Cameron Taylor and Kayla Truax.

Tyler Sells had one of his pieces, a charcoal drawing of silverware, chosen as one of top 300 art works in the state. He also submitted two films.
