Barnesville Football Player Canvass

The Barnesville High School and Junior High football teams will be canvassing the community on Monday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m., going door-to-door in their game jerseys selling Booster Club membership cards. The $3 donation will include a $200 cash drawing at halftime of the Friday, Oct. 20 home game against Caldwell (winner need not be present). The card will also allow free admission to the varsity boys' basketball game against Bridgeport on Feb. 2, 2018. Any football dads of players in grades 7-12 who would like to transport the players in the canvass which begins at Shamrock Stadium is asked to contact Rich Wells at 740-425-3012.

OVAC Hall of Fame Tickets on Sale

Tickets for the 2017 OVAC Hall of Fame Banquet slated Saturday, Aug. 19 at WesBanco Area in Wheeling, WV are currently on sale. Tickets are $30 each or $240 for a table of eight. There will be no tickets sold at the door. To order tickets, call the OVAC office at 740-391-2930.

Meadowbrook MS Volleyball Coach

Muskie Chix Softball Tryouts

Muskie Chix Fastpitch Softball will hold tryouts Saturday, Aug. 12 at John Glenn High School. Tryouts for 10U will be from 9-11 a.m.; 12U from 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m.; 14U from 1:30-3:30 p.m.; and 16U and 18U from 4-6 p.m. Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled time to complete registration. Muskingum Basketball Skills Clinic

The Muskingum University men's basketball team will be hosting an exciting fall basketball skills clinic on Sunday, Sept. 17 from 1-4 p.m. in the Anne C. Steele Center. The Skills Clinic is open to boys and girls grades K-8. The clinic will focus on instructing the fundamental skills of the game of basketball and will include many skill competitions and game opportunities. All skill levels are encouraged to attend. The clinic cost is $30 per child and additional children from the same the household will cost $20. Every child attending the clinic will receive coaching from the Muskingum men's basketball staff and players as well as a Muskingum basketball T-shirt.
