BELMONT -- Breaking out the bats on Monday, the host Union Local Lady Jets banged out 16 hits to roll to a 13-4 win over the visiting Barnesville Lady Shamrocks.

The Lady Jets broke a tie at three with seven runs in the fourth inning and never looked back adding three in the fifth after the Lady 'Rocks had got one back in the top of the inning.

Freshman Regan Hanlon suffered the loss in the circle with three Ks and six walks with relief help from Chloe Campbell who added one strikeout and two walks. Skylar Lucas garnered the win fanning five and walking two.

Barnesville (7-14) collected seven hits paced by Hanlon with a double and Abby Starr with two singles. Union Local (10-7) was led at the plate by Kaden Mercer with two doubles and a single, while Daniell Merritt and catcher Mckenzie Deese added a double and single each. Morgan Edwards and Caitlyn Clark-Patterson chipped in with two singles each.

Barnesville 10Shadyside 5

SHADYSIDE -- Visiting Barnesville doubled up on the host Shadyside Lady Tigers, 10-5, on Wednesday.

Freshman Regan Hanlon picked up the pitching win fanning two and walking three. Karly Klug took the loss with relief help from Jaelyn Greenwood and Madison Davis. The trio combined for one strikeout and 12 walks.

Barnesville (8-14) was led at the plate by Erin Hannahs with four singles, while Sarah Powell added a double and single, catcher Baylie MacMillan two singles and Hunter Miller a double. Hanlon helped her own cause with three single. Shadyside (9-7) put together a 12-hit attack paced by Kayla Smith with a double and single, while Kaitlyn Weaver, Davis and Haleigh Osman added two singles each.

Barnesville 9 Bridgeport 3

BRIDGEPORT - Visiting Barnesville High picked up its ninth win of the season, defeating host Bridgeport by a 9-3 score on Thursday.

Regan Hanlon earned the pitching win for the Lady Shamrocks (9-14), striking out three and walking three. Bridgeport's Brooklynn Ruble had 10 Ks and six walks.

Sarah Powell topped the BHS hitters with a triple, two singles and two RBI. Bailey MacMillan, Hunter Miller and Brianna Bohandy each had a double, with MacMillan driving in three runs and Miller one.

For Bridgeport (11-10), Bri Conaway had an RBI double and Ruble had a two-run single.
