OUE men improve to 15-3 with third straight win

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — After losing back to back games last weekend, the OUE Panthers have reeled off three in a row. Sunday afternoon the Panthers played host to Wright State Lake and came away with a hard fought 85-70 victory. After being down 36-32 at intermission, the home team outs-cored the visitors 53-34 to help improve their record to 15-3 overall and 9-3 in conference play.

OUE was led in scoring for the fourth time in a row by Devin Ward, who pumped in 25. He was followed by teammate Jordan Barbina who fired in 20 points and collected seven rebounds. Nick Schuetz inched closer to the 1000 point plateau, scoring 12 while NaKwuan Phillips recorded his first double double, scoring 12 points while snagging 10 rebounds. D’Aundrea Anderson led the way for the Panthers with 13 rebounds and Matt Burke gave good minutes off the bench scoring eight points.
