STEUBENVILLE — The men’s basketball team of Ohio University Eastern traveled to Steubenville and defeated Franciscan University 77-55. The Panthers were led by two Wheeling Park Graduates. Djhae Jackson finished with 27 points and six steals, while Marquez O’Neil had 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Nick Schuetz had 11 points and nine rebounds to close out the double figure scorers.
The Panthers improved to 8-1 and then traveled to Orrville on Wednesday night to take on an always tough Akron Wayne team.
