A recent Facebook posting claiming the body of a supposed Bigfoot was found in Salt Fork State Park and seized reportedly is a hoax.
The text of the posting is as follows:
"It has been learned that a local man found the body of a dead Bigfoot in a wildlife area of Salt Fork while hiking on a trail in the northern part of the park. He called Bigfoot researcher Doug Waller who investigated and determined the creature to have been about 7 and a half feet tall and covered in hair. Through on site examination, the creature was bipedal and greatly resembled a very primitive type of human. Park Rangers have secured the body and have secured it in a private facility for further and more complete examination."
Waller, who heads the SouthEastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigation, said Monday the report was false.
