ZANESVILLE -- The Zanesville-Muskingum County Convention and Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce that a new walking, driving, and biking tour brochure is now available for the Historic Putnam District.
The brochure showcases the area of Zanesville that encompasses one of the earliest European settlements in the State of Ohio. The Putnam Historic District boasts a rich heritage of late Federal, Greek Revival and Victorian period residential, religious and commercial structures. The entire District is on the National Register of Historic Places and its origins date to 1801.
Attractions and homes that have historical and/or architectural significance are listed in the marketing piece along with photos and descriptions of the properties. "The intent of this publication is to assist visitors who wish to explore the Putnam Historic District at their leisure," said Kelly Ashby, Vice President of the Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce.
The Historic Putnam brochure will be distributed at trade shows, mailed out by request, and made available at the Welcome Center for walk-in traffic. To request a free copy of the brochure, please call the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce at 740-455-8282 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
