The Barnesville Exempted Village School District Board of Education approved the hiring of two new principals, one for the middle school, one for the high school at a special meeting Sunday, July 9.
The board approved a recommendation from Superintendent Angie Hannahs to issue a two-year administrative contract to Ronald Clark as Barnesville High School principal, effective August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2019. Former principal Micah Fuchs was hired as Director of Special Education and Student Services, effective August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2019, for the district in May
The board also issued a two-year administrative contract to Casey Mayo as Barnesville Middle School principal, effective August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2019. The board accepted the resignation of former principal Julie Erwin who held the position for eight years, at a special meeting on June 30.
The board also issued a certified, limited, one-year probationary contact, effective the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year to Jamie Bauman as elementary intervention specialist.
