The second annual Patriot Day, with a theme of "Salute to Service" is being planned for Saturday, September 9, 2017 by Jim & Sue Patron of Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido to honor all military, wounded warriors, law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics/EMTs, and dispatchers for their selfless duties in protecting and serving their country and communities. A very special program is being planned for these men and women so they know what a blessing they are in the lives of each and every one of us. We will also be "Remembering 9/11."

The Patrons are inviting all military, wounded warriors, first responders, their families and communities throughout Belmont and all area counties throughout Ohio, serving in active duty, retired, or veterans. For those who are no longer with us, we invite a family member to attend in their honor.

In recognition of all who we are saluting, they are asking that a picture be sent with their name, military branch and rank, service dates and enlistment (WWII, Iraq, etc.); police department served, rank, and service dates; fire department served, rank, and service dates.

This will be displayed in the lobby area of the Union Local Middle Auditorium for all to share.

Pictures and information may be brought or mailed to either location: Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main St. Barnesville, OH 43713 or Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main St., Bethesda, OH. Photos may be of an individual or a group such as a specific police department, veteran association, etc. All photos will be available for pick up the day of the program.

More details coming soon about this very special event. Watch the Enterprise, our website and Facebook page.
