Passport to Fishing Program is July 12 at Olney Friends School

Belmont SWCD will be holding the Passport to Fishing program at Olney Friends School located at 61830 Sandy Ridge Road Barnesville, Ohio 43713 on July 12, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registration will be at 8:45 a.m.

The Passport to Fishing program is sponsored by The Division of Wildlife and USFWS Wildlife and Sportfish Restoration. This program is to educate all ages on casting, safety, fishing knots and rigging, fish habitat and handling, fishing regulations, identifying fish, and how to read a map.

All ages are welcomed to participate in this free program. Limited to the first 25 participants. If you are 17 years of age and younger, you can receive a free fishing pole for the completion of the course. If you are age 16 and older, you must bring your fishing license. Dress accordingly to the weather. Please RSVP to Belmont SWCD by July 11, 2017. Come join us for some fun.
