Monday, April 24
4:22 p.m., Belmont County 911 reported a call from a Morgantown Avenue caller who provided the license plate of a vehicle driven by a man he said almost ran over him and then threatened to beat him up.
4:31 p.m., female on station in regard to accidently striking a vehicle. She stated no damage was done to her vehicle, but wanted to file a report. Officer took female's information.
Tuesday, April 25
2:00 pm., manager of apartment on South Lincoln Avenue reported marijuana use. Drugs were found in an apartment and officer was enroute to station with one male in custody.
2:11 p.m., accident with property damage on Bond Avenue. Female involved in accident had active warrant out of Belmont County for failure to appear. Female was transported to Belmont County Jail.
5:05 p.m., female called in reference to getting calls from the mother of a man against whom she has a temporary restraining order. The man's mother lives in Barnesville, but the calls were received at the caller's workplace in Wheeling, so she was advised to contact the Wheeling Police Department.
Wednesday, April 26
3:48 p.m., male caller reported that a female friend may have slit her wrists in the railroad tunnel. Officer on scene called EMS. Female had superficial wounds to her legs and needed to be checked out. Female's father was to take her to OVMC for evaluation.
Thursday, April 27
12:05 a.m., traffic stop on East Main Street.
6:05 a.m., Bond Avenue resident reported that a brick was thrown through the downstairs window sometime overnight. Statements and photos were taken.
8:36 a.m., Leatherwood Road resident reported property damage he claimed was done by his neighbor.
