Gravestone Guardians of Ohio, through a granted works project in conjunction with the Belmont County Genealogical Society, will begin restoration of the Ebenezer Cemetery in Belmont County which is a pioneer cemetery dating from the 1820s.
Work will begin this month as weather permits and will continue into the 2017/2018 season.. If anyone is interested in learning about how gravestone restoration is done, they are encouraged to watch for posts on the BCGS Facebook or their website, ccogs.org, where dates and times that volunteers will be at the cemetery will be posted.
