Through a collaboration between Crossroads Counseling, Barnesville Hospital, Belmont Professional Associates, Ohio Hills Health Services, and the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Belmont, Harrison and Monroe counties, addiction recovery services are being offered locally.
Addiction Services of Eastern Ohio is an Ambulatory Detox Center providing an outpatient model for individuals in need of detoxification from opiates or Suboxone/Subutex, with many of the benefits of inpatient detoxification in a less restrictive environment.
This program will provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) therapies including injectable naltrexone (Vivitrol) which can be used to treat patients who choose to stop using alcohol, opiates, heroin or buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex).
Jan Chambers, Director of Development of the Barnesville Hospital Foundation, said hospital officials were very excited to be able to offer this resource in the community.
Addiction Services of Eastern Ohio is located at 100 Hospital Drive, Barnesville, Ohio. The phone number is (740) 425-5780.
Crossroads Counseling will be providing the onsite counseling services to patients as part of this outpatient substance abuse program.
Crossroads also offers a 24-hour hotline at 888-202-3900 in the event of an emergency.
