Accident snarls traffic on I-70

BARNESVILLE — A weather-related accident involving two vehicles traveling on Interstate 70 Wednesday morning brought motorists to a halt as crews worked to clear the scene near the Barnesville exit.

He was later extricated by Barnesville and Fairview firefighters using mechanical means.

Clairsville, was taken by ambulance to an undisclosed area hospital for treatment.

The car struck the side of the tractor-trailer driven by Mark Olde of Montana, causing extensive damage to the Saturn.
