Barnesville Police Department officers responded to a call at a North Broadway Street residence Sunday evening that resulted in one man being arrested and another hospitalized.
According to Police Chief David Norris the call was received at 10:36 p.m. on Sunday. One male was transported to Barnesville Hospital and later reported to be in stable condition after he was allegedly stabbed by his brother who was arrested by police and transported to Belmont County Jail on charges of domestic violence and felonious assault. Police did not release the names of the victim or the suspect.
