Harmony Windows -- the area's only direct window

Published:

Harmony Windows -- the area's only direct window source Cathryn Stanley Editor Opened in July in the former 5 B's factory at 130 E. South St. in Barnesville, Harmony Windows is Barnesville's newest business and the area's only factory direct source for windows. Harmony Windows also sells and installs vinyl siding, doors and replacement glass. They offer free estimates, professional installation and service. They manufacture picture windows, double hung, and slider windows. Because they manufacture their windows, they are able to offer factory direct pricing to homeowners and local contractors. "We offer service and quality at the area's only factory-direct window source," Manager Jenny Hunkler said. "We offer complete warranties on everything we sell and we service what we sell." The company currently has five employees including Jenny Hunkler, manager; Terry Bailey, production; Jennifer Kernik, office and Lori Cook, quality control. They hope to add more employees as the company grows. Harmony Windows can also replace storefront windows and recently installed new windows at the Barnesville Police Department. They have also installed window at St. Vincent DePaul thrift store and Corner Fitness in Barnesville. "Our clientele has been pleased," Hunkler said. The company is striving to be "green" and recycles their window glass. They can also except window glass from others at a recycling dumpster located behind the factory. Buyers can take advantage of a 30 percent tax credit for low-emittance windows. Different types of low E-coatings allow for high, moderate or low solar gain. Low-e windows block radiant heat transfer, making it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Their windows are easy to tilt and clean. They can service and repair any window and offer various glass packages. Harmony windows can even incorporate company logos and symbols into the glass. They stock Style Crest RMC siding in six colors and all the accessories to hang siding. Their vinyl windows can be made in five colors, including a difficult to find dark brown. "Windows are one of the best investments you can make in your home," Hunkler said. Harmony deals with Ohio companies as well as UPG of Pittsburgh "one of the best companies in the business." They invite people to stop in the show room to see their selection of windows, siding and trim and see the windows being made in the factory. Stop in before August 31 to receive 10 percent off any window or in-stock siding order. Visit their open house on September 23 and 24 and be entered to win prizes and additional discounts. They also offer contractor discounts and most window order can be ready in one to two weeks. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 740-619-0173 or 877-790-3026 or visit their Web site at www.harmonywindows.net.
