East Main Street in Barnesville was closed early Wednesday evening as a huge tree in front of the H&R Block building (formerly Wilson CPA) fell onto the main roadway. Pictured are members of the Barnesville fire department and street department, who quickly responded and cut through the top of the tree, clearing the roadway. Traffic was diverted onto Bethesda Street. As of Thursday afternoon some area residents still had no electrical power.
