ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- An autopsy has been ordered for a man found dead inside a tent Sunday afternoon at Valley View Campground near the entrance to the Jamboree in the Hills grounds in Belmont County.
The body of Adam Greene, 25, Scio, was discovered after a 911 call was received at the Belmont County Sheriff's Office at 12:40 p.m. reporting his death.
Greene's death was the first of two reported in the area of Jamboree in the Hills, as a man reportedly suffered cardiac arrest and died behind the stage Sunday night.
Authorities have not released his identity.
The incident reportedly occurred just before midnight.
The Belmont County Coroner's Office is assisting the sheriff's office with the investigations into both deaths.
Belmont County Sheriff Fred Thompson indicated there were no signs of foul play in the death of Greene. He is believed to have died overnight from Saturday to Sunday as the result of natural causes.
Thompson said the coroner has said the death is believed to be the result of a combination of dehydration and extreme heat. The sheriff said Greene may have also suffered from a pre-existing heart condition.
Both deaths remained under investigation by the Belmont County Sheriff's Office.
