Hospice of Guernsey is excited to announce its 3rd Annual Touch A Truck, which will take place at Deerassic Park on Saturday, June 3 from 10a.m. to 2p.m.
Touch A Truck is a FREE family event that allows children of all ages a hands-on opportunity to explore various vehicles and meet the people who build, protect and serve our community. (Donations will be accepted, but there is no admission cost.) Along with the 'trucks' there will be basket raffles, a ride on power wheel raffle, a hands one play area, and face painting.
New this year, the United Way of Guernsey and Noble Counties will hold their Community Campaign Kick-off in conjunction with Touch A Truck. They will offer food by donation and host fun family activities.
Hospice is currently looking for additional 'trucks' to participate.
Last year's event had more than 30 'trucks' including a fire truck, law enforcement vehicles, a big pink concrete truck, helicopter, tow truck, and an ice cream truck. Hospice staff and volunteers are hoping to have an even bigger line-up this year!
If you would like to participate with your truck, contact Jenna Conaway at 740-432-7440 for more information. Hospice is also offering sponsorships for Touch A Truck. There are several levels of sponsorship available.
Touch A Truck is sponsored by The Daily Jeffersonian, Pine Tree Towing, Caldwell Redi-Mix, Cambridge Used Cars, Cambridge Classic Ford, and Dunning Motors.
